|Title||Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor John Milne, Fellow of the Royal Society|
|Date||23 October 1902|
|Description||In reply to Milne's letter of the previous day, Harrison does not think it likely the International Seismology Committee is likely to be convened for any day next week. Only about half the Academies of the International Association which were applied to have as yet replied. Will show Sir M Foster Milne's letter next time they meet and has no doubt every effort will be made to fix a meeting with regard to the date Milne mentions in his letter. Queries if Milne could attend a meeting at the Royal Society on 3 November. |
The principal business for the Volcanic Committee to settle is the form in which to recommend the Council to print the full report of the observers. Is sure the Committee will be glad to hear any views from Milne on this.
