TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to E W B Nicholson, Librarian, Bodleian Library Oxford
Date29 October 1902
DescriptionIn reply to Nicholson's note of the previous day Harrison's letter to Mr Cowley was not an application originating at the Royal Society, but was written in pursuance of an undertaking which he understands was given by Sir M Foster, the delegate of the Royal Society at the recent commemoration of the Bodleian Library. If the Bodleian has no desire to have the Society's seal affixed to the congratulatory address, Harrison will inform the Council.
