DescriptionCouncil have recommended the following gentlemen to the King for the award of the Royal Medal for 1902: Professor Horace Lamb FRS and Professor Edward Albert [Sharpey-]Schafer FRS. Royal ascent has not yet been receive for these nominations but the Mint will no doubt be glad to learn the names of the suggested recipients. The medals would be required for award on 1 December.
