DescriptionGathers from a note of Dr [Joseph] Larmor's that Love has agreed informally to the paper by Mr [James Hopwood] Jeans 'On the Vibrations and Stability of a Gravitating Planet' going forward for publication under Standing Order 43, subject to Love's own criticisms being communicated to the author. Would like Love's formal authority as Chairman of the Sectional Committee, on the enclosed form [not enclosed], and on receipt of this Harrison will send the criticisms in autograph to the author with the paper, with a notification that it is to be printed in the 'Philosophcial Transactions [of the Royal Society]'.
