DescriptionAcknowledges receipt of Harrison's letter of 30 December enclosing a copy of a letter from the director of the Kodaikanal Observatory suggesting that the question of ordering the instrument for bringing any part of the sun's limb on to the slit of the spectrograph may be reconsidered. The letters will be laid before the Observatories Committee at their next meeting.
