DescriptionAcknowledges Sampson's letter of 7 January which he received with regret. Has also received the returned volume of the 'International Catalogue', will forward the correspondence regarding subscription to the Central Bureau. The withdrawal of a subscription taken up by a body like University College, Liverpool, is a serious matter for the Society since the Royal Society guaranteed at the International Conference a subscription for 45 sets on behalf of Great Britain. Notes the University College is the solitary organization to have misunderstood the description of the work.
