TitleCopy letter from Sir William Huggins to, The Honorable H B Lefroy, Agent General for Western Australia
Date19 January 1903
DescriptionHuggins is sorry that the Premier of Western Australia was offended by his expression 'breach of faith' regarding the matter of the International Astrographic Chart. Huggins clarifies that he had a right to state that British Astronomy would be held to be guilty of a breach of faith if this important undertaking were to lapse, leaving a gap in the great work of the Chart. Withdraws the expression as it seems to have conveyed another meaning.
