DescriptionThe Secretaries and relevant Chairman of the Sectional Committee have approved Mr Andrews' paper 'On the Evolution of the Proboscidea' for 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]'. But since the referees suggest it needs amending, Harrison asks Woodward if he would be so good as to undertake the task in light of Andrews' absence.

Contains two pages of suggested modifications made by the referees.
