TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Joseph Larmor, Secretary of the Royal Society
Date12 January 1904
DescriptionHarrison writes concerning the postcard notice of the papers for 21 January, enclosing a proof, and asks if it should be submitted to The Times newspaper as it stands or not be sent, and further notes that nothing has been sent to Nature. It is stated that in the 'second case' he shall circulate it as a postcard as usual.

Notices for the special meeting were sent last week. He submits for Larmor's approval proof of the Magnetic Instruction documents and a letter from Captain Thomas Henry Tizard which had just arrived. Once they have been approved and returned he will get 25 printed.

A manuscript addition refers to the high numbers of new Fellows of the Royal Society who had visited in the last two days.
