DescriptionHarrison has been instructed to remind Keltie, in response to his letter of the previous day, that the letter from the Secretaries [of the Royal Society] suggests that a decision on the draft letters to the Admiralty should be deferred until they know the Admiralty's views on the fuel and provisions for the return voyage of the Discovery.

The Royal Society is awaiting the response of the Royal Geological Society to suggestions made in the Secretaries letter before amending the drafts.
