TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to the Editor, the Lancet
Date2 February 1904
DescriptionHarrison writes regarding his letter of 26 January requesting that the Lancet not publish Dr Bashford's paper until they had received an authoritative copy from the Royal Society, which they acted on. He states that publication in the British Medical Journal was unauthorised by the Society and contravenes an identical request to that made to the Lancet. Given that neither paper received an authentic copy, he will write to the Editor of the British Medical Journal for an explanation.
