DescriptionHarrison, in response to letters of 5 and 10 February regarding Dr Thin, deceased, encloses the Legacy Duty Account with receipt for the Legacy of £100 signed by the Treasurer of the Royal Society in anticipation of a cheque for the amount of legacy that Harwood & Company have agreed to forward in exchange. The Treasurer has assumed that the legacy is without conditions and is available for the general purposes of the Society, but asks they let Harrison know if this is not the case.
