Title | Copy letter from Joseph Larmor, to Professor Alfred George Greenhill |
Date | 18 February 1904 |
Description | Larmor explains that they will be able to progress with the printing of Greenhill's paper once he has addressed the points raised in the enclosed (NLB/28/335) minute from the Chairman of the Mathematics Committee. As they do not set up quarto in slip they must have the manuscript form in advance, and with regard to Mr Edward's note they advise printing paragraphs one to five and 13, with a few sentences containing the gist of paragraphs six to 12. He also suggests that the diagram be reduced to allow them to print it without folding, which could be done if the inch scale were reduced to millimetres.
Larmor asks if Greenhill agrees. |
