DescriptionHarrison responds to Searle's letter requesting to withdraw his paper on 'Studies in Magnetic Testing', enclosing the manuscript and drawings. He asks that Searle acknowledge their safe receipt, and in line with the Standing Orders assure him in writing that it will be regarded as not having been communicated to the Royal Society. He is allowed to make arrangements with the printers for private copies to be made, providing no mention is made of its communication to the Society.
