Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr A W Campbell, County Asylum, Rainhill, near Liverpool |
Date | 21 March 1904 |
Description | Harrison notes he has received Campbell's letter of 19 March enclosing a section of his paper on Cerebral Localisation which they obtained for him on Thursday, and expresses regret that it did not prove very useful. Campbell's remarks regarding the reproduction of the series of drawings illustrating his paper will be noted.
A postscript apologises for the incident whereby the drawings which Harrison had obtained the sanction of Council for Campbell to borrow were not available in time for his lecture. He explains that the Paper and Plates were with a referee and he had assumed they would be returned in time, and when it became apparent that they would not, he sent a telegram and messengers to retrieve the drawings, but the referee was out of London. Harrison sent all that was provided to him. |
