TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Charles Prestwich Lucas, [Colonial Office]
Date29 April 1904
DescriptionHarrison reminds Lucas that the Royal Society responded to the Colonial Office some years ago, detailing the conditions upon which they would be prepared to advise in the proposed Mediterranean Fever investigation. They have heard nothing further, and in the meantime have been approached by the Director General of the Medical Department of the Navy, who had been advised to contact the Society directly, seeking additional information on the investigation's scope.

Harrison asks if the conditions originally outlined in their letter have been adopted by the Colonial Office, and whether the Society is now expected to proceed with the appointment of a Commuttee to direct the investigation.
