Date30 April 1904
Description'Dear Madam,
In reply to your note, your request for a suscription to your book shall be put forward in due course, but I think it extremely unlikely that the Library Committee would recommend its purchase by the Royal Society, which does not include family histories in its Library, particularly in the present congested condition.
I am, Dear Madam, faithfully yours,
Robt [Robert] Harrison
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
