TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor William Grylls Adams, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date5 May 1904
DescriptionHarrison reports on the paper communicated by Adams, namely a note by Professor Lehfeldt and Professor Norris Travers on "The Joule-Kelvin Effect", which the Sectional Committee for Physics and Chemistry have found to represent an insufficiently substantial contribution to knowledge to be read before the Royal Society. He feels he cannot accept the paper and so returns the manuscript to Adams, and asks that he acknowlege its receipt.
