TitleCopy letter from the Clerk to the Government Grant Committee, to Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary, Royal Society
Date6 May 1904
DescriptionHe states that on the 30 July he obtained from Mr Mann's solicitor, who has recently been the sole point of contact, a list of the instruments purchased from the Government Grant, with the instruments eventually being sent to the Government Grant Committee. The 'Adopter' referred to in Mann's letter was not in the list, nor was it sent to them, and so they presume it was not a Government Grant instrument.
