DescriptionThe Royal Society learns with regret that the epidemiologist who the Local Government Board had agreed to despatch to Malta for the investigation into Malta Fever, has not yet departed due to difficulties which have arisen between the Board and the Treasury on the subject of his allowance. Colonel David Bruce, who is directing the enquiry, stresses the great importance of an early arrival of the epidemiologist. Asks whether they can expedite his departure.
