DescriptionRix explains that applications to the Scientific Relief Fund can only be made through the President of one of the following: the Royal Society, Royal Astronomical Society, Royal Geographical Society, Chemical Society, Geological Society, Linnean Society, and Zoological Society. No steps can be taken unless Potter's case is recommended by the President of any of these societies to be considered by the Committee.
