DescriptionRix states that papers are taken in order of reception, and Wright's stands in third. Lord Rayleigh might be persuaded to ask the President of the Royal Society to place it second, but Rix doubts it can be placed first. Rix is giving orders for his 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' and list to be sent.
