DescriptionRix explains that they wish to send Professor Gore of Columbia University a manuscript bibliography, which is irreplaceable. Gore has requested it be sent via the Smithsonian Institute, and Rix enquires whether they, as their agents, can inform him if there is any way of insuring it or taking special precautions if sent this way.
