TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Harrison & Sons

DescriptionResponding to their letter of 28 February, Rix can inform them that the Royal Society Officers have adopted their suggestions, and so they will ask Harrison & Sons in future to collect payments from authors for the plates illustrating their private papers, carrying the amount to the credit of the private letters account minus their commission of five percent.

Rix supplies a list of average prices for different plates, and states that authors will be advised as to the averages on the circular sent with each proof.
