DescriptionRix sends Whipple the Kew cheque, and was unaware that he had asked for it before. Rix has been corresponding with the bankers regarding the diminution of the payment, who state that the Italian Irrigation coupons were paid by the agent at the rate of two pounds and ten shillings per coupon, minus English Income Tax.
