TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Edward Albert Schafer, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date20 February 1889
DescriptionRix will ensure his cheque is signed when the Royal Society Treasurer visits tomorrow. He encloses a form of application as requested [not included]. Rix also notes his new address, and asks if they may retain the Harley Street address in their lists. He notes that they do not know who has been sending material to Elstree, but it is likely to be the printer and he has sent a memorandum to them about it. If anything else is sent there, Schafer is to inform them what it is, so they can correct the right person.

Rix explains the number of different lists at the Royal Society and the printers means that new addresses are sometimes missed. Thei postage matters have increased substantially over the last few years.
