TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr George Harley, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date17 May 1889
DescriptionDr Michael Foster has directed Rix to respond to Harley's note, explaining that the reason the words 'publication deferred' appear next to his paper's title is that when the sheets of 278 of 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' were made into pages, it was still under judgement. The resolution of the committee has since been passed, so the abstract of his paper will appear in number 279 on page 612, and in fact, has already gone to press.
