TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Sir Charles Cameron
Date22 May 1889
DescriptionRix has, as he said he would in his letter of 22 May, brought before his chiefs the matter of publishing Cameron's paper, noting that Sir Henry Roscoe had made in error in stating that it was for 'Proceedings of the Royal Society'. It was decided to refer the paper to independent referees, as is customary for those intended for 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. The referees appointed by the Committee of Papers have presented their reports, and Rix encloses the decision of the committee based on those reports.
