TitleCopy letter from an unknown correspondent, to Messrs West, Newman & Company
Date4 June 1889
DescriptionIt is almost decided which figures are to be inserted in the text of the Eclipse papers, and so it will be safe to proceed with the plates. There will be no more figures to be added to the plate of which Messrs West, Newman & Company has the plan, and so the originals will be sent to them. They can proceed at once with the work, carried out according to the tissue paper plan submitted to the Royal Society.

Also reiterates that the spectra are to be black on white as in the drawings.
