|Title||Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Charles Todd, Fellow of the Royal Society, the Observatory, Adelaide|
|Date||7 June 1889|
With reference to the enclosed letter announcing your election as a Fellow of the Royal Society, it may be convenient ^to^ you if I explain that I have noted upon the Agenda for the next Council Meeting to grant extension of time until your return to England for "admission" into the Society, meanwhile your privileges will be in all respects the same as those of an admitted Fellow.
I am, faithfully yours
Asst. Secy R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
