DescriptionRix supplies updates on those requesting invitations to the Royal Society Soirée.

Sir William Bowman wants permission to have an invitation for Sir F Burton. Mr Ludwig Mond requests an invitation for his son, Alfred Mond. Dr George Edward Dobson has visited twice to ask for permission to invite his friend Dr Little, and Rix explains that he had previously mistaken the case, as it was Little who reviewed the book and Dr Tibbets who brought the action and received farthing damages.
