TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Drake & Gorham
Date30 July 1889
DescriptionRix will not be able to send them a cheque for the accounts just rendered for weeks, but will not forget to return Crossley's invoice when the account is paid. The last cheque passed at their Council meeting will be sent this evening. Rix believes he is correct in ordering the renewal of the cells, but notes that as he is reluctant to do it in the Royal Society Treasurer's absence that they need not rush to begin work. As soon as it is considered 'absolutely necessary' they should start.
