Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor William Crawford Williamson, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 2 March 1889 |
Description | Rix notices from Williamson's memorandum to the printers that he expects revises, but informs him that they do not expect to go to that expense due to the considerable cost of the photographic processes and the fact that his lettering is so distinct as to render it unneccessary. Rix asks therefore that he introduces his final corrections into both plates and text, and they will hold themselves responsible for reproducing them exactly.
They are awaiting Williamson's paper, which is to be read on the 14th, and must have time to put the abstract into type before the meeting. |
