TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Sir Reginald Welby, Secretary, Her Majesty's Treasury
Date24 September 1889
DescriptionWith reference to Mr Jackson's letter of 19 January, reference 7532/88, regarding the request to be made to Parliament for a grant of 1000 pounds towards the cost of publishing the 'Catalogue of Scientific Papers', as discontinued by Her Majesty's Stationery Office, Rix informs Welby that the manuscript has been completed and the printing is in progress. As a consequence, it would be convenient if the grant could soon be paid to the Royal Society's bankers, Messrs Robarts, Lubbock & Company.
