TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr William Marcet, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date27 September 1889
DescriptionRix explains that the delay is because the printers were waiting for Marcet's introduction before proceeding with the remainder of the paper. He further notes the care they took in sending a plan of the arrangement of diagrams before beginning work on them as it is impossible to rearrange on the stone, and would therefore necessitate doing the whole plate again. Rix therefore advises that he avoid it.
