|Title||Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Arthur Gamgee, Fellow of the Royal Society|
|Date||1 October 1889|
|Description||Rix notes that he is yet to receive Gamgee's annual contribution in response to either of the two circulars sent to remind Fellows of the Royal Society, and unless it has very recently been paid, it remains due. He will have to suspend his name under Statute three, paragraph five, unless he receives the four pounds owed.|
Rix also remarks that he has not heard any news of him recently, and hopes his health is improved.
