TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Thomas Wharton Jones, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date7 October 1889
DescriptionRix gives the title of his manuscript as 'On the phenomena observed to attend the propulsion of lymph from one of the lymphatic hearts into a vein, in the frog', and states that they will not begin copying until he has confirmed that this is the correct document. Meanwhile, Rix will write to Mr Cowell to ask him to send Jones details of his terms, advising that with regard to negotiations it is wiser to be direct, as Cowell will be employed by Jones rather than the Royal Society.
