DescriptionFurther to Rix's letter of 15 March, he is able to communicate that at a meeting of the President and Council of the Royal Society with regard to a statement by the Senior Secretary, it was resolved that cloth-bound copies of the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' be supplied to instiutions in the United Kingdom that apply. They are therefore able to agree to Dyer's request, and the volume for the Library of the Royal Gardens, Kew, will be dispatched today.
