|Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Michael Hanly, 25 Bloomfield Terrace, Buckingham Palace Road, S.W.
|25 November 1889
|Rix encloses a list of toasts and speakers [not included] for next Saturday's dinner. He is unaware of whether they have all agreed, but the Royal Society President has written to them to ask them to speak. Professor Thomas Edward Thorpe is the only individual likely to make a scientific speech, and his address is given as the Science Schools, South Kensington, S.W., and the President's address as Leurfield Cottage, Cambridge.
