| Description | Arber's paper 'On some New Species of Lagenostoma, a type of Pteridospermous seed from the Coal Meaures' has been under consideration by the Sectional Committee for Botany and it has been decided to publish it in the new series of 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' subject to the alterations suggested by one of the referee's being carried out. Provides the remarks of the referee concerning making the account of the morphology of the seed more concise and the reduction in size and slightly in number of the illustrations.
