DescriptionProfessor Hele-Shaw in a letter just received from Africa writes that before he left he wrote to Elgar concerning Captain Bacon's nomination for the Royal Society, and that he hopes there will be no hitch in the matter. Mentions this as he has so far received no certificate for Bacon. Any certificate now received could not be considered before next year.
