Title | Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to the Under Secretary of State for India, India Office |
Date | 16 January 1905 |
Description | With reference to Sir Horace Walpotle's letter of 26 August 1904, and Geikie's reply, the Indian Government Advisory Committee has had a meting at which Geikie's request for information on Sewage Schemes and Experiments was considered. The Committee think the desired information would probably be most fully supplied by the Royal Commission on Sewage Disposal. A member of the Committee, Sir M Foser, who is also a member of this Royal Commission, has obtained the consent of the Chairman of the Commission, Lord Iddesleigh, that every assistance in this matter should be given to the India Office. The India Office should communicate directly with the Secretary of the Royal Commission. |
