TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Joseph Jackson Lister, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date23 May 1905
DescriptionHas Lister's letter returning proofs of his paper and the revise will be sent. The Society is in communication with the printers with the view of obtaining a suitable paper for process blocks when printed as plates in the new 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]', but the paper on which the text is printed was chosen after careful deliberation and is the very highest quality rag paper made especially for them. Queries if it would be better for Lister to take his illustrations out of the text and make plates of them.

Is afraid the Treasurer [Alfred Bray Kempe] will have something to say regarding the heavy corrections on Lister's proof. They do not appear to be due to printers' omissions.
