TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor William Edward Ayrton, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date29 May 1905
DescriptionThanks Ayrton for his letter and feels confident that the Committee would except Ayrton's suggestion that the Osmium Lamp as well as the Tantalum Lamp should be exhibited, and feels sure Ayrton will be safe in negotiating to obtain this. Asks to know the result or be put in touch with the manufacturers. Feels confident the difficulty about advertisement would not apply to Siemens in the matter of the Tantalum Lamp, and is sending them an invitation to exhibit it.
