Description[Copy letter appears incomplete] States the title of Scott's paper 'On the Structure and Affinities of Fossil Plants from the Palaeozoic Rocks.--V. On a New Type of Sphenophyllaceous Cone (Sphenophyllum fertile) from the Lower Coal-Measures'. Draws attention to the remarks of a referee enclosed [not enclosed] and asks if Scott would be willing to comply with these suggestions. On receiving a reply the printing of the paper can be proceeded with at once.
