DescriptionHas Milne's letter about his assistants. The charge seems to him just and reasonable and he has asked the Treasurer [Alfred Bray Kempe] if he also approves, to have a cheque sent for £21 in payment of the two assistants. Council approved on Thursday of the resolution of the Seismological Committee and a letter embodying it was sent yesterday to Government.
