DescriptionWith reference to the Under Secretary's memorandum and enclosures of 18 May relating to the British Eclipse Expeditions to Spain under the leadership of Professor [Hugh Longbourne] Callendar and Mr Evershed, the Royal Society is now in a position to provide details. Owing to certain difficulties which have arisen in connection with the transport of the instruments it was not possible to give this information before hand. Provides details for the planned expedition with two parties: one of five person under Professor Callendar, and one of two person under Evershed. Suggests actions which will facilitate the progress of the expedition.
