TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Chrystal, Secretary, Royal Society of Edinburgh
Date17 July 1905
DescriptionThe Society has been reconsidering the issue of index slips with separate numbers of its publications. As the compilers of these slips are not familiar with the schedules of the International Catalogue [of Scientific Literature], the result is not of much use for that purpose. The Society propose asking authors to supply indexes for use in making the indexes of the Society's volumes. As Chrystal's Society fell in with the plan of index slips, Larmor writes to acquaint him with this new proposal in advance.
