TitleCopy letter from an unknown correspondent, to Professor [Edwin Ray] Lankester, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date18 September 1905
Description[Copy letter appears incomplete, no valediction or signature] Was replying to Lankester's note of 14 September when his note of 16 September arrived with the corrected proof of [Edward Alfred] Minchin's report. A revise will be sent to Lankester as soon as it is ready and Lankester will see that the paragraph which Minchin sent in an amended form is already incorporated in the text. The explanations of the figures will be printed under the figures.

There is presently no other matter in hand for another part of the Sleeping Sickness Reports and Minchin's present report would by itself make a very thin part for separate publication. Queries if Lankester contemplates having Minchin's report published separately or if he is content that its publication should await other matter to add to it.
