Description[Copy letter appears incomplete] States the title of Watson's paper 'The Mammalian Cerebral Cortex, with special reference to its comparative histology. I. order Insectivera. Preliminary Communication'. As Watson says in his letter of 4 September that the diagrams illustrative of the postero-mesical or posterior region require some slight revision before publications, Harrison returns these in order to be prepared for reproduction [not enclosed]. Once they are returned printing of the paper will proceed.
